Louisiana-based Gulf Coast Sequestration and direct air capture company Climeworks announced last week they have partnered in the removal of 1 million tons of carbon dioxide from the air annually by 2030, with the capability to expand to multimillion ton capacity in future years.

Climeworks and GCS are industry pioneers in bringing innovation to carbon dioxide removal and secure, permanent storage. GCS matches Climeworks’ pioneering DAC technology with comprehensively studied geologic pore space ideally suited for a world-class carbon storage project. Read the entire announcement.
