We believe in positioning Louisiana to win in economic development. During C100’s DC Briefing 2024, Governor Landry announced his partnership with C100 to evaluate how to restructure the Louisiana Department of Economic Development (LED), which led to the passage of SB 494 (Act 590) in the 2024 legislative session.

C100 is also working with LED to determine the best path forward for creating a Long-Range State Economic Development Strategy for Louisiana’s economy, region by region. Louisiana needs a plan that is effective and endures beyond administrations for the benefit of future generations.
