James E. “Lannie” Richardson is the CEO of the CCI group of companies. The CCI group corporate headquarters is located in Pineville, Louisiana. Regional offices for the company are located in New Orleans, Lafayette, Beaumont, Texas and Houston, Texas. The CCI group is recognized as one of the leaders in post acute healthcare in the state of Louisiana with the implementation of advanced practice nurses, new building designs emphasizing a home like environment, and the development of a revolutionary telehealth product called LILAH. This is an acronym for “living independent life at home.” As the acronym implies, LILAH allows people to live at home, in independent living, in assisted living or in other alternatives to nursing homes.

Mr. Richardson is from North Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana Tech with a B.S. in accounting. Mr. Richardson graduated from Pepperdine University with an MBA and also attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for post graduate work.

Prior to 2002, Mr. Richardson was employed by HCA as CEO of Savoy Medical Center for thirty years where he led in the growth and development of one of the largest rural medical centers in the United States. Savoy Medical Center was the largest employer in Evangeline Parish and one of the largest in the surrounding parishes. Savoy Medical Center and affiliates treated thousands of patients per year in the clinics, acute care hospitals, rehab centers, and nursing homes. Mr. Richardson and Dr. Frank Savoy were widely recognized for the growth and improvement of the medical care to the citizens of Evangeline Parish and the surrounding areas. During Mr. Richardson’s tenure at Savoy Medical Center, he served on the boards of local agencies such as AHEC and the Council of Aging.

Mr. Richardson serves on the board of the Louisiana Nursing Home Association and is a trustee of First Baptist Church of Lafayette. Mr. Richardson serves the church in other capacities as called upon. Mr. Richardson has also served on many nonprofit boards in the healthcare arena.
