Kirk Soileau is the Chief Executive Officer of Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, LA.
Kirk has over 38 years of healthcare experience in the public, for-profit, not-for-profit and faith based organizations and was also the founder of an international healthcare consulting company traveling to over 21 countries. In 2013, Kirk joined Natchitoches Regional Medical Center (NRMC) as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
As CEO of NRMC, Soileau is responsible for all aspects of the Health System’s strategic, clinical and financial direction. The Health System encompasses 227 beds comprised of an acute care hospital, assisted living and long term care facility. In addition, the NRMC network includes, primary care, rural health and walk-in clinics serving the North Western Parishes of Natchitoches, Sabine, Winn and Red River Parishes.
Before joining NRMC, Soileau was CEO for Oakdale Community Hospital; system CEO for Renaissance Healthcare Systems in Houston, TX, and President and COO for Gulf States Health Services.
Kirk obtained a Diploma in Nursing from Charity Hospital School of Nursing, New Orleans, Louisiana; a Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of St. Francis, Joilet Illinois; and a Masters of Health Administration from Tulane University, New Orleans and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Kirk is a 2018 National Malcolm Baldrige Fellow
Soileau was appointed by Governor Jindal and currently serves on the Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners for the State of Louisiana. He has been an active Rotarian since 1998 and currently is a member of the Natchitoches Club. He also has served as a Board Member of the American Cancer Society, Rotary International, United Way and Richard Murphy Hospital Foundation.
