Shawn has 32 years’ experience in technology consulting with a particular passion for the digital enablement of business and the competitive advantage this can create. He formed Sparkhound in 1998 with this purpose in mind.

Sparkhound has seen tremendous growth in recent years due to bringing on an experienced leadership team as well as its focus on a culture of “go to” people with both great technical skills and character (communication skills, integrity, approachable, etc.).
Prior to founding Sparkhound, he earned a bachelor's degree in Quantitative Business Analysis and master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Louisiana State University. He and his wife, Jennifer, are committed to their community in Louisiana and have four children ranging from eleven to 17 years old.

He has served or is currently serving on the boards of the following organizations:
-Innovation Catalyst Fund
-Louisiana Arts and Science Museum (Chair, Strategic Planning)
-LSU E.J. Ourso College of Business Dean’s Advisory Council (Executive Committee 2015-2017)
