The career of Glen F. Post, III has spanned more than 30 years, with most of those years in executive management roles. With him at the helm, the company was recognized as one of the 2008 Business Week 50, the magazine's annual ranking of the nation's best-performing companies.

Post leads a highly respected management team that has transformed CenturyLink from a small, local exchange communications company into an S&P 500 Integrated Communications Service Provider. Under his leadership, CenturyLink is focused on delivering high-quality products and services to its customers; partnering with the communities it serves to promote economic development; creating a dynamic work environment for employees; and achieving industry-leading, long-term shareholder value.

Post has led or been involved in every strategic CenturyLink acquisition or divestiture since the early years of his employment and has led the strategic direction and operations leadership development at CenturyLink for the past twenty years.

Post's disciplined approach to operations leadership and strategic acquisitions, as well as his focus on utilizing the company's strong cash flow and financial strength to drive long-term shareholder value, positioned the company for the October, 2008, agreement to acquire Embarq Corporation. This transformational acquisition more than tripled CenturyTel's revenues and customer base and represented another significant achievement. After this acquisition, CenturyTel's proforma annual revenues, based on 2008 results, will exceed $8 billion, up from $360 million in 1992 when Post was appointed CEO.
