C. J. Blache
BioC.J. Blache is a native of New Orleans who earned a B.S. in Industrial Labor Relations with a minor in Economics from LeMoyne College, Syracuse, N.Y. and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, New Orleans, LA. The focus of his practice for over thirty years has been in the area of governmental relations and regulatory law at the state and local level. He has been active in every session of the LA Legislature since 1980. His primary clients’ interests are diverse and include petro-chemical, transportation, maritime, insurance and other general business matters. Clients include Transder, Port of New Orleans, New Orleans Aviation Board, Chevron and New Orleans Business Council.
Prior to private practice, he served as Assistant Secretary of Labor over Employment Security, Louisiana Department of Labor and Chief legal counsel to the Louisiana House Labor Committee. CJ is active in multiple business and non-profit entities and presently serves on the boards of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), Liberty Bank and Trust, Gulf Coast Bidco, Black Economic Development Corporation, Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation, River City Jazz Coalition and WWOZ radio.
