Nick Speyrer

Nick Speyrer is founder and president of Emergent Method, a Baton Rouge-based management consulting firm focused on helping organizations innovate, grow, improve their performance, and achieve their missions. The firm, founded in 2012, was honored as Company of the Year by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report and Junior Achievement in 2017.


A proven innovative professional, Nick's exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills bring value to complex client situations. His expertise lies in strategic planning, organizational design, change management, project management, strategic communications, and multi-stakeholder participation in planning efforts as well as policy- and decision-making processes.


Nick has applied this knowledge and expertise in his work with large organizational transformations and high-profile clients across the state of Louisiana, including The Water Institute of the Gulf, the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, Albemarle, Amedisys, and the Public Affairs Research (PAR) Council of Louisiana, to name a few.


After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Nick began his professional career as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, based out of the company's Atlanta office. He also worked as a consultant with SSA Consultants.


A strong believer in the power of giving back to the community, Nick has served on many non-profit boards in addition to his client involvement; these engagements include serving as President of the Board of Directors for Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge, as well as being a member of the Dean's Advisory Council for the LSU E.J. Ourso College of Business. Nick was also recently recognized as a Baton Rouge Area Volunteer Activist.
