Mimi Goodyear Dossett

Mimi grew up in Covington, Louisiana and attended Newcomb College, Tulane University and graduated in May 1986 with a B.A. in Communications. After several years working in Boston and Washington DC, Mimi married Bill Dossett, a farmer and attorney from Bolivar County, Mississippi, whom she met at Tulane. The Dossetts lived in Cleveland, Mississippi for 17 years, raising their three sons, all now grown. During her later years in Cleveland, Mimi served as Bolivar County Administrator.

In 2008, Mimi and Bill moved back to Louisiana to take over management of her family business, Money Hill, a real estate development and golf course community in St. Tammany Parish. Since then, she has been actively involved, not only at Money Hill, but in many civic activities around the community, serving as a member of the Board of Commissioners of St. Tammany Parish Health System for six years and a current Commissioner for St. Tammany Corporation. Mimi is the current Chair of the Northshore Business Council, a member of the Board of the Northshore Homebuilders Association, a past board member of Northshore Community Foundation and a Vestry member and active parishioner at Christ Episcopal Church. Mimi volunteers at and donates to numerous other organizations in the parish.

Today, Mimi and Bill’s sons live in Austin, TX, Mississippi, and New York City, and they are grandparents to three boys under three.
