Mark McKnight

Markham McKnight is the CEO of Cadence Insurance and has been a member of the firm’s executive leadership team since 2005. From 2005 through 2022, he also served in the capacity of president. Cadence Insurance is the second largest bank-owned brokerage in the nation and ranks in the top 1% of all U.S. brokers by revenue. Markham was previously the president of Wright & Percy Insurance and oversaw BancorpSouth’s acquisition of the firm in 2003. He is a past chairman of the Worldwide Broker Network (WBN) and the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB), and is a board member and past treasurer of the Louisiana Insurance Guaranty Association. Additionally, he is a board member of The Institutes, the leading provider of risk management and property and casualty insurance education. Among his many civic associations, Markham is a past trustee of the board of the National World War II Museum and a past chairman of the LSU Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF). TAF inducted him into its Hall of Distinction in 2010.
